Hi, I’m Matteo Chiappetta, an Industrial Design student at Virginia Tech from Washington, D.C. with a passion for furniture, transportation, and sustainable design. I thrive in collaborative environments, drawing inspiration from diverse perspectives to fuel my creativity. What gets me really excited about design for me is pushing materials to their limits and bringing ideas to life through hands-on prototyping. My Italian, Japanese, and Peruvian heritage plays a big role in shaping both who I am and my approach to design. My experiences in Peru and upcoming studies in Copenhagen have further sparked my interest in blending cultural insights with innovative, user-centered designs that leave a lasting impact on the globe.
