Hi, I’m Matteo Chiappetta, an Industrial Design student at Virginia Tech from Washington, D.C. My passions include furniture, transportation, and sustainable design. I thrive in collaborative environments, drawing inspiration from diverse perspectives to fuel my creativity. I am most energized by the design process when exploring the full potential of color and materials and remaining adaptable to evolving concepts. My Italian, Japanese, Peruvian, and American heritages play a big role in shaping both who I am and my approach to design. My experiences in Peru and upcoming studies in Copenhagen have further sparked my interest in blending cultural insights with innovative, user-centered designs that leave a lasting impact on the globe.
